Since 2012, the year of its establishment, ETS Le Colonne has been working to contribute to the development of society in the cultural, historical, artistic and archaeological fields.

Its action is based on the founding values ​​of conservation and enhancement of the beauty inherited from the past.  It addresses future generations and the potential public that can be approached by implementing the right strategies to achieve concrete goals, such as

 

Heritage education: 

We turn every year to the Scholastic Institutes with a rich program of activities in the role of “educational agency”.

 

Audience development:

We involve bands of the population traditionally excluded from the cultural offer through  initiatives and events that create a space for integration and aggregation for the community.

 

Innovation:

in 2017, we created a system entitled "Museum visit easy" which, by reading the QR codes, allows you to simply deepen your knowledge of the archaeological finds, guaranteeing maximum usability and hospitality of the Faldetta Archaeological Collection. In fact, we pay particular attention to breaking down of barriers caused by cultural and physical factors that impede quality of life and equal opportunities for all people.

 

 

Preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage:

We manage from 2013 to today the Faldetta Archaeological Collection at the municipal seat called "Palazzina del Belvedere" of Brindisi, with the Municipality of Brindisi,

under the High Supervision of the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Brindisi and Lecce;

We manage the Castle of Carovigno and the Carovigno Library with the Municipality of Carovigno;

We signed an agreement in August 2020 with the Ministry of Culture - Puglia and Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Brindisi and Lecce for the enhancement of Alfonsino Castle of Brindisi
